There are many different opportunities for sponsors to become involved with JSR. If you would like to sponsor a JSR event, please contact Yvonne McSkimming at (604) 726-5277 or by Email at yvonne@singaround.com. We can either offer tax deductible receipts or a unique and exciting opportunity to promote your business through our events, online, and in print. Please check our Sponsor section for more detailed information.
Donate
You can support JSR by attending the various events that we promote, by making donations to the Foundation directly (online through PayPal or mailing us a cheque), or you can make secure donations to the Foundation online through Canada Helps. You can do so by accessing their Web site at http://www.canadahelps.org and clicking the “make a donation” link and then place Just Singin’ Round in the search bar. Charitable tax receipts can be issued for all donations made.
Charities
Charitable organizations that are interested in partnering with JSR should contact Yvonne McSkimming at yvonne@singaround.com. We have completed the selection process for 2008, but will be beginning the selection process for 2009 this summer. We request that you put together a package that outlines your organization and mail it to us by May 31st. It is also recommended that you attend one of our showcase events at the Vancouver Rowing Club to get a better sense of who we are and how we work in collaboration with local charities.
Volunteer
We are always seeking new volunteers to help us with the showcase events. In particular, we always need people to help with the set up and take down of the show, as well as serving the meal and greeting people as they arrive. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Jo-Anne Lauzer, joanne@singaround.com
Perform If you are interested in performing at the monthly singer/songwriter showcase event at the Vancouver Rowing Club, please contact Yvonne McSkimming at yvonne@singaround.com. We suggest that you attend a show so that you can have a better sense of who we are and how it all comes together. We respond to all requests and look to showcase diverse and prominent artists.
